Grim Fictions

Grim Fictions is a game of living in a harsh world where supernatural creatures exist on the peripheral to haunt you and hunt you. It is a game where killing something can be difficult but surviving a major wound can be harder still. The world is a dark place in Grim Fictions, but you have what it takes to survive it - if you work together.

Grim Fictions is meant to be a game that you can grab for a single night of gaming. Creating a character only takes moments so you can get to the juicy gaming bit more quickly. And if your character meets an untimely end half-way through the night, making a new character only takes a minute.

Grim Fictions has this to offer:

• Simple D6 mechanics - roll a number of six-sided dice, pick the one you like the most, and compare it to the difficulty set by the GM.
• Quick character creation - traits and stats are kept to a minimum to make character creation a breeze and ideal for one-night gaming.
• Supernatural mechanics - Would you like to play as a vampire, a werewolf, or a zombie? We have the technology!
• FREE sample chapter - If you're still not sure, the chapter on systems is available to you for free. This free sample includes EVERYTHING you really need as a player, but the GM is recommended to have the full book.

Grim Fictions is licensed under Creative Commons 4.0, so you are allowed to reuse any part that you like from this game for your own publication.

About the Character Sheets

The official character sheets for this game were made for A6-sized international paper, so you can fit 4 character sheets onto one A4-sized page. The BW version is already set for such printing, but you may have to adjust the printer settings for ideal outcome.

The BRIGHT and DARK versions are both intended for digital use and can be edited in your computer or tablet.
